I AM READY. . .
I am ready to partner with you. Clients of mine have found my coaching has assisted them in moving their career forward (getting unstuck); finding more effective ways to influence and communicate with their team and leadership; as well as working through a voluntary transition such as a new job or an involuntary transition such as a layoff. I believe in making the best of every transition. Some key outcomes to target during a transition are improving one’s performance by moving from mediocre results to exceptional results and increasing one’s opportunity for promotion by evolving their leadership behaviors to demonstrate their true leadership potential.
Being a woman, I am able to help other women working in male-dominated industries work through issues unique and personal for women such as work-life balance, career planning, career advancement and career transitions. Additionally, I can provide great insights to men who want to ensure they connect with the women on their team and in their industry by building strong, productive, lasting relationships.
In sum, I assist my clients improve their self-confidence in the value they can bring now and, in the future, and provide tools and techniques to help them communicate and demonstrate their potential ultimately enabling them to achieve their goals, purpose and dreams.
Having had success as a sales leader for over 35 years at Broadcom/VMware (AVGO), Pure Storage (PSTG), VCE (joint venture), Cisco (CSCO) and ATT (T), I find immense fulfillment in helping others advance their careers and the careers of the people they lead. After consistently working to elevate my teams by making coaching an integral part of my process and success, I pursued formal training to amplify my expertise and became a Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF - ACC).
When not coaching, I enjoy anything outdoors. I gravitate to the ocean and water related activities. I have taken up pickleball and strive to play weekly. I'd really like to see my golf score land below 95. I have a garden with over 80 varieties of daylilies and am a member of the American Daylily Society. When it's cold and rainy, I enjoy reading, painting and needlework. I've been married for over 30 years. Fortunately, my husband enjoys almost all of the same hobbies with the exception he does CrossFit and I do yoga!
I was born in Memphis, TN and have lived in Chattanooga, TN, Birmingham, AL, the Florida Panhandle and Atlanta, GA. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism (A.B.J.) from the University of Georgia, along with a Master of Science (M.S.) in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. In 2023, I was recognized as the Distinguished Alumna of the Year from my high school alma mater, The Hutchison School.
